Perhaps a lesser-known fact about Kyle Cooke, one of the stars of reality TV show Summer House, is that he attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. As is a common tradition amongst those who are attending college, Cooke was part of a fraternity, but which one?

Kyle Cooke was in the Psi Upsilon fraternity while he attended Trinity College. This information comes from fellow reality TV show star Nile Lundgren, who claimed that they were in rival fraternities.

According to Lundgren, Cooke was together with him in the same fraternity when they were in college together. He even goes on to say that the two “partied together” despite being in rival fraternities, implying that he knew Cooke quite well.

Kyle Cooke Outside of Summer House

Long before he was a main feature on Bravo’s Summer House, Cooke was and continues to be an aspiring entrepreneur. He did a variety of work, both for himself and for others, across a variety of unrelated fields.

One of his first ventures was “Nightclub Jockey, Inc”, a company that would be focused around the management of clubs and restaurants, providing a variety of solutions for businesses in those spheres.

In the app industry, he assisted in the development of the app FENIX, an app focused around managing and customizing your nutritional needs with the help of a dedicated nutritionist.

His own clothing brand is named birddogs. They are a brand of shorts and pants that boast having built-in underwear.

He also formed the company Loverboy with his wife Amanda Batula, his co-star on Summer House. The company focuses on the selling of organically brewed hard teas, which have featured on the show before.

Batula promoted its newest product in the Loverboy line, a far more expensive, high-end luxury item. Judging by her accompanying post, both her and Cooke are highly invested in the production process of their product.

Cooke Attending Trinity College

Cooke attended Trinity College where he would receive a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Architecture. From the story that Lundgren tells, this is where he and Cooke became friends.

In Lundgren’s recalling of their shared experience at Trinity College, he reminisces on the fact that he and Cooke were a part of rival fraternities but that they still hung out and were “buddies”. Lundgren recalls these experiences based on a question posed to him by the interviewer about which cast member on his own reality show, Camp Getaway, he would replace and with whom.

He explains that he would introduce Cooke to the show, based on the past friendship that the two share. Although we get the name of the fraternity that Cooke was a part of, Lundgren never discloses his own.

How Kyle Cooke Became Famous

Kyle Cooke gained his fame through the aforementioned reality TV show, Summer House.

The show itself was initially born out of a crossover episode from another show hosted by Bravo, Vanderpump Rules. It was this crossover episode, titled “Summer House Rules”, that would spawn the similarly named show featuring Cooke.

The show featured a group of friends as they partied hard over the summer period, each season being littered with romance and drama.

Over the course of the multiple seasons of the show, Cooke would become romantically entangled with one of the other cast members, Amanda Batula. In the fashion of the show, the two would experience a tumultuous set of dramatic ups and downs over the season-long storylines.

The two would continue to stay together, however, despite a few odd breaks here and there.

Eventually, this would even lead to the two becoming engaged, with the proposal taking place on one of the finales of the show.

With the wedding planned, to mark the significance of the show and the friends they had made along the way with its production, the pair would choose to invite many of their co-stars to the wedding, who had been there since the earliest seasons.

The show would prove to be popular enough to be renewed for multiple seasons, with Cooke and his eventual wife-to-be Batula taking center stage. Cooke would accrue a serious social media following off the back of the show, which would help to fuel his other business ventures.
