It has been revealed that Danny Boyle is set to direct Bond 25 – the 25th instalment of the James Bond franchise – and filming will begin later this year.
Reports came from the Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye on Twitter last week, where he also mentioned the return of Daniel Craig in his role as 007.

However, these plans depend on the script which John Hodge, who also wrote Trainspotting, is currently working on.
Boyle confirmed these rumours at a screening for his new show, Trust, on Wednesday evening. He told Metro USA:
We’ve got an idea, John Hodge, the screenwriter, and I have got this idea, and John is writing it at the moment. And it all depends on how it turns out. It would be foolish of me to give any of it away.
Before he begins on the new Bond, the Oscar-winning director is set to join forces with Richard Curtis to shoot a musical based on none other than The Beatles’ biggest hits. Though not officially announced, it is rumoured to be called All You Need is Love.
Other works from the director include Slumdog Millionaire, which won him an Oscar for Best Director, Trainspotting and 127 Hours.
