NBA 'Looking Into' Josh Giddey Over Claims Of Inappropriate Relationship with Minor

TMZ Sports has confirmed the Association is aware of the rumors that have spread on social media this week ... with photos and videos alluding to Giddey being intimate with a high school girl.

Giddey was asked about the speculation at Thunder practice on Friday ... and he remained tight-lipped.

She posted photos and video with him with captions saying that she had just fucked him.

The Thunder are playing really great this year. This will probably screw them up. Surely he has plenty to choose from, that are legal.

Australia also has its own 10-team professional league (with one team in New Zealand), called the National Basketball League, which has grown in stature in recent years -- in terms of the quality/level of play & how it's perceived internationally. It's not on par with some of the European leagues, but it's well-regarded, probably one of the top five leagues globally (outside of the NBA).

The NBA currently prohibits players going directly from high school into the NBA draft -- they have to be one-year removed from high school. Instead of messing around with college (and all the NCAA's eligibility rules/regulations), several young American-born players in recent years have elected in to play in the NBL for a year until eligible for the NBA draft. The most notable is LaMelo Ball, All-Star guard for the Charlotte Hornets. He enjoyed his year in Australia with the Ilawarra Hawks so much, he made a serious bid to buy the team in 2020 (but it fell through).
