Despite losing in heartbreaking fashion to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, all is well with the Dallas Cowboys. They're two games above .500 and sit in a Wild Card spot with three games coming up against teams with seven combined wins.
The schedule gets tough after that, but the Cowboys can prepare comfortably for this upcoming stretch of games. If fans thought the loss to the Eagles would negatively impact the team's mindset, that doesn't appear the case.
Parsons and Lamb "fight" at practice
At least not for their two best players, Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb. During practice on Thursday, the two were spotted slap-boxing during the breaks throughout. According to one onlooker, Parsons seems to have come out on top.
Both players appear to have pretty decent form, so maybe an NFL-to-boxing transition is in the cards in the future. We've already seen Adrian Peterson, Le'Veon Bell, Frank Gore and others step into the ring. Maybe Parsons and Lamb will do the same, but it's a long way away for the 24-year-olds.
For now, they will focus on building on what has been an outstanding season for both. Parsons is on pace to set a career high in sacks. Lamb is well ahead of pace to shatter almost all of his career best receiving numbers.
As long as the two don't start fighting for real with each other on the gridiron, the Cowboys should be just fine.
