A new American manufacturer could be heading to Forza Horizon 5.
Forza Horizon 5’s Day of the Dead-themed Dia de Muertos Series has only just begun, but a reliable data miner has possibly uncovered new cars planned for next month’s American Automotive series update.

At the end of last month’s Let’s Go! stream, Playground Games teased that the American Automotive Series (Series 27) will add “lots of new cars” in November. While none of them were revealed, the new US manufacturer could make its Forza debut in the next series if the leak is true.
1,234-hp Lucid Air Sapphire could be coming to Forza Horizon 5
While digging through files hidden in the latest update, GTPlanet’s TGR55 found a Lucid Motors manufacturer logo. This may provide a clue of what to expect in the American Automotive series update.
For the uninitiated, Lucid is a luxury US automotive manufacturer that specialises in high-performance electric cars. Lucid currently has one model in production: the air. Rivalling the Mercedes-Benz EQS, BMW i7, and Tesla Model S, the Lucid Air is sold in four trims: Pure, Touring, Grand Touring, and Sapphire.
At the bottom of the range, the Pure model puts out 430hp with a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds and a 410-mile range. Competing with the Tesla Model S Plaid, the top-of-the-range Grand Touring model generates a colossal 1,050hp, with a 0-60 mph time of 3.0 seconds and 516 miles of range.
To compete with the Tesla Model S Plaid, the top-of-the-range Sapphire has a staggering 1,234hp on tap from three electric motors. With a 0-60 mph time of just 1.89 seconds, the Sapphire is even quicker than a Bugatti Chiron and one of the fastest electric cars one arth.
While the Lucid Air isn’t sold in the UK, the luxury EV is available outside the US in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Norway. Lucid is a relatively new player in the electric car world. If the leak is true, the automaker will get valuable exposure in Forza Horizon 5.
We should emphasise that the logo discovery doesn’t mean Lucid is heading to Forza Horizon 5. It also isn’t clear if all four Lucid Air variants will be added to pad out the car list. But considering the brand is based in California, Lucid to making its Forza debut in the American Automotive series update.
More Forza Horizon 5 car leaks
As YouTuber Ericship 111 notes, several other cars have leaked in past updates but have yet to appear in Forza Horizon 5. These include the 1971 Plymouth GTX and 1968 Pontiac Firebird, with both last appearing in Forza Horizon 4’s American Muscle Car Pack.
Other leaked American cars that have yet to appear in Forza Horizon 5 include the 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 (last seen in Forza Motorsport 7), 1957 Ford Thunderbird (last seen in Forza Motorsport 4), and Ford GTX1, which has only appeared in the original Forza Horizon. These are all potential new cars for the American Automotive series update.
American Automotive release date
As teased in last month’s Let’s Go! stream, Forza Horizon 5’s American Automotive series update starts on 9 November. Playground Games confirmed the next series will bring back the oval track as well as add new race routes and a new collectible.
Intriguingly, the data miner also discovered two icons in the files named “uphill” and “descend” – could we be getting hill climb races in the next series or a future update? We should find out more details in the next Forza Monthly or Let’s Go! stream in early November.
